1. Who I Am

StrategicSystems is a consulting and software practice based in Alberta, Canada. I build field-capture tools, reporting dashboards, and the bridges that connect them to the ERP systems construction and trades businesses already own.

2. Information I Collect

I collect only what you choose to give me:

• ·Free Systems Audit: your email address, optionally your name and company, and your answers to fifteen assessment questions. I do not ask for financial account numbers, passwords, or government identifiers.
• ·Contact form: your name, email address, optionally your company, the tier you are interested in, and your message.
• ·Server logs: my web server records standard request information, including IP address, browser type, and timestamp. These logs exist to keep the site secure and running, and are rotated on a schedule.

3. Information I Do Not Collect

• ·I do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
• ·I do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics platform.
• ·I do not embed social media tracking pixels.
• ·I do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
• ·I do not collect or store payment card information on this website.

4. How I Use Your Information

What you give me is used only to:

• ·Calculate your Systems Score and send you the result.
• ·Reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
• ·Deliver and support the services you have engaged me for.

I do not add you to a marketing list because you took the audit. If I ever want to send you something beyond the above, I will ask first.

5. Where Your Data Is Stored

Audit and contact form submissions are stored in a database on my own server in Alberta, Canada. I run my own infrastructure rather than renting space in someone else's cloud. Access is limited to me and anyone working on your engagement, traffic to this site is encrypted in transit with HTTPS, and client records and working files are held in encrypted storage.

6. Third-Party Services I Use

This website loads no third-party fonts, stylesheets, scripts, or trackers. Everything the page needs is served from my own server, so no advertising or analytics company can profile you through my pages.

Two service providers are unavoidably involved in running the site, and it is only fair to name them:

• ·Cloudflare: handles my DNS, encryption, and the secure tunnel that carries traffic to my server. Cloudflare sits between you and me, so it processes your IP address as part of delivering the page.
• ·Proton Mail: handles my email in both directions. It hosts my inbox, so anything you send me is stored there, and it carries the notifications this website sends out.

These providers process your information on my behalf to deliver the service. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes, and I do not give them access to client project data.

7. Cookies

I set no advertising or analytics cookies. Where a form needs protection against abuse, I may use a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps your submission secure and expires when you close your browser. It carries no tracking identifier and follows you nowhere.

8. Your Client Data

This policy covers information you give me through this website. When I work inside your systems on a paid engagement, your business data - job costs, payroll, employee records - is handled under the confidentiality terms of that engagement agreement. I take only the data needed to do the work, I do not copy production data without a reason, and at the end of an engagement I return or delete working copies on request.

9. Your Rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you have the right to:

• ·Ask what personal information I hold about you.
• ·Ask me to correct anything inaccurate.
• ·Ask me to delete your personal information.
• ·Withdraw consent for future communication.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. I will respond within thirty days.

10. Data Retention

• ·Client records: kept for the length of the engagement plus one calendar year.
• ·Audit submissions from people who do not become clients: kept for 90 days, then permanently deleted.
• ·Contact enquiries that do not lead to work: kept for twelve months, then permanently deleted.

You can ask me to delete your information sooner at any time.

11. Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy as the services evolve. Material changes will be noted here with an updated date. I will not reduce your privacy protections retroactively without your consent.
